Arnold Snyder's Radical Blackjack reveals, for the first time to the general public, the guarded insider secrets used by professional blackjack players to win in today's game. This is not a book about basic strategy or card counting. It does not repeat anything in Snyder's earlier books. It's Snyder's own story on how he invented and used formerly unpublished shuffle tracking, hole carding, next card play, and radical rebate strategies to beat the casinos for an extended time at the highest stakes allowed. Radical Blackjack also covers Snyder's own camouflage methods, partner play, and team play in hilarious detail, while showing players how to come up with their own unique strategies for beating casino games. Casino surveillance departments be warned--in this book, Snyder names names.

An updated, down-to-earth handbook on how to accurately play and realistically win at casino blackjack. Contains an exhaustive basic strategy section, 6 color-coded strategy charts, 60 hand illustrations and 40 charts explaining basic and advanced play. Eight NEW PAGES of 2017 updates analyze the effects of recent blackjack developments such as blackjack side-bets, 6-to-5 blackjack, dealer hits soft 17 and the little known 'Insuring blackjack against an Ace for less'. A unique 'What Comes After Basic Strategy' chapter provides a color-coded card telling a basic player when to correctly 'go against' basic strategy due to key cards on board. A 'Blackjack Myths' section dissects common B/J folklore such as 'Bad players make you lose', 'Assume it's a dealer's 10 in the hole, etc. Presents 3 fully developed card counting methods from the recreational Ace/10 Front Count to the up-gradable KISS Count to the professional level Mentor Count. Excerpt. Reprinted by permission. All rights reserved TROUBLE BLACKJACK HANDS & BOARD TWEAKS By this point in the book you should know over 90% of your correct basic strategy. Keeping a full basic strategy card with you would just be redundant overkill. All you need now is something to remind you how to play those tricky hands – the ones that most players still miss. You’ll also want to know which hands to change up when the dealer hits soft 17. That’s what the color-coded chart on the following page is for. It contains only a fraction of the hands on a full basic strategy card, and is the size of a credit card. Yet, its fewer boxes are large enough to be easily read in a casino. The chart also points out your hit soft 17 basic strategy changes. And lastly, it tells you when to “tweak” the two most common “boardsensitive” hands based on Babies vs. 10s on board. HITS SOFT 17: The two red and brown boxes with a bold “D” in them tell you that if the dealer hits soft 17, basic strategy is to double down with 11 against an Ace and with Ace/8 against a 6. BOARD-SENSITIVE HANDS: The “+T” in the red box denoting 12 against a 4 states that if there are more Tens on board than Babies, you should HIT that 12! Conversely, the “+B” in the brown 16 vs. 10 box instructs you to STAND on 16 if there are more Babies on board than Tens! Ahh, but what if there are the same total number of Babies as Tens? THEN JUST PLAY BASIC STRATEGY Deviate from basic only when there are more Tens with 12 against a 4 -- and more Babies with 16 against a 10. GET OVER IT: Now, don’t think you’re committing heresy when you “break” basic strategy in qualifying situations. Remember, these are “borderline” hands. When basic strategy determined that you should just barely hit 10/6 against a 10, it assumed that all other cards were available. But if basic strategy were calculated with say, a 3-4-5-8 gone: IT WOULD TELL YOU TO “WAVE” YOUR 10/6 ! You’ve come to a point in your game where you're trying to notice and take advantage of things that go beyond “zero memory” basic strategy! You’re becoming a blackjack “card player”, not a basic strategy robot.

Million Dollar Blackjack

Uston, Ken
Echo Point Books & Media

Contrary to popular opinion, anyone who enters a casino can win at blackjack. In blackjack, unlike many casino games, your winnings depend on skill rather than chance. Players have left behind billions of dollars at the blackjack table, but it doesn't have to be that way anymore! \nWorld famous blackjack expert Ken Uston provides seven simple rules to improve your game and presents students with four levels of winning skills. Strategies start with the Simple Plus/Minus for beginners and work up to the Advanced Plus/Minus and the Uston Ace-Five Count. Million Dollar Blackjack also explains the Uston Advance Point Count method, used by some of the world's top blackjack professionals. \nNotoriously hailed the "blackjack bible," Million Dollar Blackjack remains one of the most pivotal and comprehensive guides on the game. Breaking down the various rules, strategies, and counting methods, Uston discloses the tactics that made him a multi-million dollar winner. In this book, he covers nearly every aspect of casino blackjack from selecting the right game, to avoiding being barred, to the "illegal" side of blackjack, to cheating dealers and players. \nMillion Dollar Blackjack details a myriad of playing techniques fortified by insider information. Ken Uston has carefully evaluated all previous blackjack theories and schools to offer you the most comprehensive guide on the game. \nKen Uston (1935-1987) was arguably the world's foremost blackjack player and game strategist. He graduated from Yale with a BA in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from Harvard. After a stint as the Senior Vice President of the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange, Uston traded his three-piece suit for the unpredictable life of the professional gambler. During his blackjack career, he mastered card counting, which led him to be barred from a number of casinos. Uston won a lawsuit against casinos in New Jersey, which protested the banishment of card-counting players, and its ruling still holds today. \nUston has authored a number of bestselling books including Ken Uston on Blackjack and Mastering Pac-Man. \nReaders interested in related titles from Ken Uston will also want to see: Ken Uston on Blackjack (ISBN: 9781626548961), Mastering Pac-man (ISBN: 9781626548978), Ken Uston on Blackjack (ISBN: 9781626548961), Mastering Pac-man (ISBN: 9781626548978 ).

Play Blackjack Like the Pros

Blackwood, Kevin
William Morrow Paperbacks

Professional blackjack player Kevin Blackwood shares his million-dollar winning strategies for mastering the odds and consistently beating the house at their own game. \n Play Blackjack Like the Pros is the requisite introduction to the modern game of blackjack, including high and low stakes casino, shoe games (several decks shuffled together), online, and tournaments. Blackwood begins with the basic rules of play and then moves on to teach his proven card-counting method, broken-down into three levels: novice, recreational, and professional. He also covers camouflaging techniques (it's perfectly legal to count cards, but if the house catches you they will kick you out), money management, and team play. Blackwood includes many stories of his and other professionals' triumphs at the tables and keeps the highly technical language that bogs down most gaming books to an absolute minimum. \n Play Blackjack Like the Pros is written in the style of Phil Hellmuth's Play Poker Like the Pros using easy-to-understand lessons that all levels of players can quickly benefit from. \nBlackwood is one of the world's top card counters. He began with only a few hundred dollars and has won over a million playing blackjack. In Play Blackjack Like the Pros he demonstrates how to earn over $10,000 a month from just a few days work. Blackjack is set to balloon in popularity. Ben Mezrich's book on the MIT card counting team Bringing Down the House was on the New York Times bestseller list for weeks and is being made into a movie staring Kevin Spacey. Blackjack Tournaments are growing in popularity with many of the top casinos offering large prize pools. Online Blackjack is currently a multi-million dollar industry.\n
